The Real Challenge
At Anuvaya Labs, we’re not just fine-tuning models—we’re teaching machines to understand the cultural nuances that native speakers never have to explain. Our first product, Vaya Astrology, requires AI that grasps not just what words mean, but what they mean to us.

What You’ll Actually Do
Fine-tune LLMs to understand cultural references, idioms, and emotional contexts that most models miss

Build evaluation frameworks that measure cultural understanding, not just linguistic accuracy

Develop efficient training approaches that don’t require Google-scale resources

Bridge the gap between technical capabilities and genuine cultural understanding

Create systems that improve with user interaction without compromising privacy

The Engineer We Need
We don’t need a researcher focused on publishing papers. We need a craftsperson who:

Obsesses over both details and delivery – perfecting model performance while maintaining momentum

Optimizes relentlessly without using it as an excuse to delay shipping

Ruthlessly prioritizes practical improvements over theoretical advances

Communicates directly about capabilities and limitations without jargon

Questions assumptions about what makes a model “good” beyond standard benchmarks

Finds genuine joy in making machines understand cultural nuance

Technical Foundation
Experience fine-tuning LLMs for specific domains or tasks
