The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager / Executive to join our growing team. This is a pivotal role for an individual passionate about building relationships and driving growth in the creative and marketing space. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, initiating contact with potential clients, and setting up qualified meetings to expand our client base.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation: Proactively research and identify potential clients within target industries (e.g., E-commerce, Real Estate, FMCG, Tech, Education, Hospitality, etc.) who would benefit from our content creation and marketing services.
Outreach & Prospecting: Execute targeted outreach campaigns via LinkedIn, email, phone, and other relevant channels to initiate conversations with key decision-makers (Marketing Directors, CMOs, Brand Managers, Business Owners, etc.).
Meeting Setting: Successfully qualify leads and schedule introductory meetings or calls for our sales/leadership team, ensuring a smooth handover.
Relationship Building: Begin fostering strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and how our services can provide solutions.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to identify new opportunities and refine our approach.
CRM Management: Accurately maintain and update lead and prospect information in our CRM system.
Reporting: Provide regular reports on lead generation activities, meeting targets, and pipeline development.
Represent the Agency: Enthusiastically represent TAPECITY at industry events, conferences, and networking functions (as required).
What We’re Looking For:

Experience:
Manager Level: 3+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or lead generation, ideally within a marketing agency, production house, or a related B2B service industry.
Executive Level: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or a strong desire to transition into business development with a proven track record of initiative and communication skills.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively.
Networking Prowess: A natural ability to connect with people and build rapport quickly.
Proactive & Self-Motivated: A hunter mentality with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently to achieve targets.
Strategic Thinker: Ability to understand client business challenges and envision how our services can provide effective solutions.
Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email outreach tools is a plus.
Passion for Content & Marketing: A genuine interest in brand storytelling, video production, and digital marketing.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative agency environment.
Bonus Points If You Have:

Previous experience selling creative services (video production, content marketing).
A network of potential client contacts.
Experience with proposal writing or presentation development (though the primary focus is meeting setting).
