Business Development Manager (Web3 & AI)

Job Summary
We are seeking a driven, analytical, and client-centric professional to lead business development activities for our new Web3 and AI startup. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in acquiring and managing clients, selling IT/digital services, and driving new business. You will be responsible for generating leads, structuring deals, managing client relationships, and ensuring seamless execution of projects and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Acquisition
Identify, pursue, and convert business leads for the startup’s full suite of Web3 and AI services, including marketing solutions, digital transformation, and product development.
Leverage experience in IT/digital services sales; experience with Web3, blockchain, or AI-driven solutions is an advantage.
Engage with national and international clients, understanding requirements and delivering tailored solutions.
Draft, present, and negotiate proposals for projects.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business and industry trends and inform strategic pivots for revenue growth.
Establish, foster, and manage relationships with startups, entrepreneurs, accelerators, and technology partners.
Use digital channels (Upwork, LinkedIn, referrals) and strong networking to generate leads and close deals.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and exceptional client outcomes.
Leadership & Representation
Represent the company in high-level client meetings, industry events, and professional forums.
Demonstrate leadership in managing projects and client engagements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Economics, Business, Commerce, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience: 3–5 years in business development, IT/digital services selling, or related roles.
Business Development: Proven ability to sell IT/digital services; Web3/blockchain/AI experience is a plus.
Market Research: Skilled at conducting primary/secondary research, analyzing industry/market trends, and generating actionable insights.
Presentations: Demonstrated expertise in creating compelling and delivering persuasive presentations.
Relationship Management: Excellent client engagement, networking, and relationship-building skills.
Communication: Superior written and verbal English; public speaking and report writing proficiency.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership in project or client settings; disciplined and proactive performer.
