We are seeking a versatile and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a proactive consultant who can adapt to diverse client needs across different industries. As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for not only identifying and pursuing new business opportunities but also acquiring a comprehensive understanding of our varied services—ranging from web development to digital marketing.
Your role will involve engaging with clients from various sectors, such as travel, e-commerce, and more, and effectively conveying how our services can meet their unique needs. You will be expected to quickly grasp and communicate the value of our offerings, from marketing strategies to technical web solutions, ensuring that you can effectively position and sell our services.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, generate, and qualify new business leads through networking, data pooling, and cold calling.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients in various industries.
Develop a deep understanding of the company’s digital marketing services to effectively pitch solutions.
Schedule meetings and demos with potential clients, and follow up on proposals and negotiations.
Collaborate with account managers and internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and account setup.
Work across different client accounts to spot upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
Research market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform outreach strategy.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably within the digital marketing & travel industry.
Strong understanding of web development technologies, digital marketing strategies, and industry trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Proactive and goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 – ₹30,000.00 per month
