Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Technical Learning and Development Sr. Team Member, you will play a crucial role in the planning, execution practical /on the job training programs for new joiners. You will work closely with the L&D Lead to plan the trainers, assessors, arrange resources for training programs, and ensure the availability of training facilities. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross functions to make the availably of the facility, raw material, Machines and maintain accurate training records.

Responsibilities:

1. Arrange Training Programs: Coordinate and schedule on the job training programs in accordance with the onboarding plan or competency development requirement of respective plant.

2. Resource Management: Plan and organize necessary resources such as trainers, facilities, and course materials for training programs. Work with Planning team to arrange the Raw material for the practical training centre.

3. Data Maintenance and Reporting: Perform data maintenance and generate reports related to skills and competencies.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure timely execution of competencies and make necessary updates as required.

5. Training Facility Maintenance: Ensure that training facilities are in good condition, with highest availability of machines and conducive for learning. Work with maintenance team to have AM, PM of machines.

6. Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records in compliance with organizational and audit requirements.
7. Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts: Work with subject matter experts to facilitate effective training programs.

8. Occupational health and safety- Ensuring training are performed in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines.

Qualifications:

· Minimum Engineering Graduate in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering

· Candidates with Certification in Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD) or Association for Talent Development (ATD) will be most preferred

· 5 to 8 years’ experience at a manufacturing organisation in technical training function

· Experience in running the skill assessment & development centres will be the added advantage

· Skills in Learning Management Systems (LMS), data management like in Advanced Excel, PowerBI as well as resource coordination, and stakeholder engagement

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
