NGO Social Media Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager & Content Creator to join our NGO’s marketing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in social media management, video creation, content writing, and SEO. They should have previously worked in an NGO marketing and social media team, creating impactful campaigns and storytelling videos to drive engagement and awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

Develop and execute social media strategies across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
Plan and schedule posts using social media tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
Engage with the community by responding to comments and messages.
Track social media analytics and optimize performance.
Content Creation & Video Production:

Create engaging videos, reels, and graphics showcasing the NGO’s work.
Script, shoot, and edit videos for storytelling and awareness campaigns.
Develop compelling written content such as blogs, newsletters, and impact stories.
Work with designers and volunteers to create visually appealing content.
SEO & Digital Marketing:

Optimize website content for search engines (SEO).
Conduct keyword research to improve content visibility.
Implement basic Google Ads and social media advertising strategies.
Marketing & Fundraising Campaigns:

Plan and execute online fundraising and awareness campaigns.
Collaborate with the team to develop strategies for donor and volunteer engagement.
Requirements:

Proven experience in social media management & content creation (preferably in an NGO).
Strong video creation and editing skills (Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, etc.).
Excellent writing skills for social media posts, blogs, and newsletters.
Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and analytics tools.
Passion for social causes and storytelling.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in an NGO marketing and social media team.
Background in journalism, media, communications, or digital marketing.
Familiarity with online fundraising strategies.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹11,533.32 – ₹47,723.04 per month
