Location: Mumbai

Reports To: Head Digital Business

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced professional with 3 to 5 years of experience in content writing and strategy who values excellence in storytelling and also has a creative edge for writing effective copy for product marketing campaigns. This role focuses on creating engaging, accurate, and impactful financial content that resonates with the target audience, while also having a good understanding of SEO fundamentals to enhance discoverability. The ideal candidate will bring relevant BFSI experience and technical proficiency to drive productivity and content effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and create well-written, clear, and engaging financial content including articles, blog posts, newsletters, social media posts, website copy, and scripted materials for video content
Produce both long and short format content pieces tailored to diverse audiences and platforms
Ensure content reflects deep understanding of financial markets, particularly stock broking and investment domains, aligned with brand voice and messaging standards
Incorporate SEO principles such as keyword integration, on-page optimization, meta descriptions, and internal linking without compromising content quality or readability
Write clear, attractive, and persuasive copy for digital campaigns, including social media posts, email newsletters, on-screen nudges/ interventions and online ads
Collaborate with marketing, content, and SEO teams to align content with business objectives
Assist in maintaining a content calendar focused on quality topics and timely delivery
Edit and proofread content meticulously for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and style
Leverage relevant technology solutions and AI tools to enhance content research, creation, and workflow efficiency
Stay updated on financial market trends, regulatory changes, and content marketing innovations to maintain relevance and credibility.
Provide input on creative content formats and strategic ideas that balance informative value and SEO impact

Qualifications:

Graduate/ Post-graduate with degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing or Communications
3 to 5 years of experience in content writing and strategy in BFSI sector or financial media
Preferred Domain: Broking, Asset Management, Fintech (MF), Fintech (NBFC/ P2P lending)
Strong writing, research, editorial and copywriting skills with emphasis on quality content creation
Experience working closely with SEO teams to subtly integrate SEO best practices into content
Proficiency in using content management systems and publishing tools
Ability to produce varied content formats and adapt to different audience sophistication levels
Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and collaboration skills
