Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure Data Engineer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, and SQL-based databases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data integration, transformation, and analytics within the Azure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
Develop and optimize data transformation workflows using Azure Databricks (PySpark/Scala).
Manage and maintain Azure SQL databases, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and ensure data quality and integrity.
Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

7 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., DP-203: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure).
Experience with Power BI, Synapse Analytics, or other Azure data services.
Knowledge of Python, Spark, or Scala for data processing.
