What you’ll do

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position: Sales Business Development

Department: Air & Ocean

Sales Business Development, we have multiple open positions in North, South & West. We are looking at hiring Managers or Sr Managers with experience between 6yrs to 10yrs from logistics industry only. We need 2 Sales BDMs at each location. (Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Gurgaon,Kolkatta – Non Bengali).

Responsibilities

Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with strategies, and facilitate pitch logistics for Air and Ocean Customers.

Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company.

Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources.

Sales Excellence – Opportunities Management, Sales Meeting, Lead Management through CRM tools.

Support deal structure and pricing with business-value analysis, and negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals

Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers, and meet regularly with managers and stakeholders to discuss strategy

Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations.

Cross Selling between Business units – Air and Ocean, Road Freight, Contract Logistics.

Required skills and qualifications.

Experience in International Freight Industry – Air and Ocean

Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience in sales techniques

Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting

Proven ability to plan and manage resources.

Preferred skills and qualifications

Experience with CRM software (ex: Salesforce)

Ability to deliver presentations effectively.
