Position: Senior Procurement Manager
Location: Hyderabad
Department: Procurement / Supply Chain
Reports To: Operations Director / GM / MD
Education: Bachelors in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Civil/Interior Engineering. MBA or CIPS preferred.

Experience: 8 – 10 years in procurement, with at least 35 years in a senior role in interior design, fit-out, or construction.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic “Senior Procurement Manager” to lead the procurement function for high-end “interior design and fit-out projects”. The role is responsible for sourcing quality materials, FF&E, finishes, and subcontracted services at the best value, while ensuring **on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with project specifications**.

This is a leadership role requiring “strategic vision, vendor management expertise, and cross-functional collaboration” with design, QS, and project execution teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement:

* Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business goals and project timelines.
* Oversee end-to-end procurement for FF&E, joinery, materials, and subcontracted services.
* Forecast material requirements based on project pipeline.

Vendor & Supplier Management

* Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors locally and internationally.
* Build long-term partnerships to ensure cost competitiveness, quality, and delivery reliability.
* Conduct supplier audits and regular performance reviews.

Cost & Budget Control

* Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and pricing to optimize value.
* Collaborate with QS and estimation teams to align with budgets.
* Track and control procurement expenses, ensuring adherence to approved costs.

Project Coordination

* Work closely with design, QS, and site teams to meet technical and design specifications.
* Monitor deliveries and resolve supply or quality issues proactively.
* Ensure no project delays due to procurement gaps.

Contracts & Compliance

* Prepare and manage POs, contracts, and all procurement documentation.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety, and client requirements.
* Stay updated on procurement trends, material innovations, and regulatory changes.

Leadership & Team Development

* Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team.
* Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and ethical procurement practices.

Skills::

* Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
* Deep knowledge of interior materials, FF&E, finishes, and sourcing trends.
* Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
