Informatica Admin
Employment Type: Contract (Duration: 3-6-12 Months Based on Project Scope)
Work Hours: 30 hours/week | 6 hours/day (Primarily Day Shift IST)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform the upgrade of Informatica PowerCenter Repository from v10.4 to v10.5.1.
Set up and configure the new Informatica environment in a VM within GCP.
Collaborate with the DBA team to provision and configure necessary databases for repository and domain setup.
Monitor and maintain the Informatica environment for performance, reliability, and compliance post-upgrade.
Document environment setup, configurations, and upgrade procedures.
Core Skills Required:
Strong experience in Informatica PowerCenter Administration (especially upgrade and configuration).
Hands-on knowledge of SQL and UNIX for scripting and system interaction.
Familiarity with Python for automation and utility scripting.
Good to Have:
C/C++ exposure would be a bonus.
Knowledge or experience with Autosys for scheduling and job management (not mandatory).
Other Details:
Contract Duration: Could range from 3 months to 12 months based on project progress and mutual fit.
Flexibility is expected if hours fall short in a week — remaining hours must be completed as per availability.
IICS skills are not required for this role.
