Channel Marketing Manager Reliance Industries (RIL)
Role Summary:
The Marketing Head will be responsible for driving all marketing initiatives to support channeldriven sales growth. The role demands creating and executing strategies that strengthen the brand, enable channel partners, and generate demand in target markets. The ideal candidate will blend strategic vision with handson execution, focusing on partner enablement, comarketing programs, and market intelligence to achieve revenue and market share targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Channel Marketing Strategy
Develop and implement integrated marketing plans aligned to channel sales objectives.
Build partnercentric marketing strategies that drive sellin (to channel partners) and sellthrough (to end customers).
Design partner segmentation, partner value propositions, and tierwise marketing initiatives.
2. Brand Management & Positioning
Strengthen brand visibility across all channel ecosystems (distributors, resellers, retail partners).
Ensure consistent messaging, communication guidelines, and brand standards in all partnerled campaigns.
Develop marketing collaterals, channel toolkits, and campaign playbooks.
3. Partner Enablement & CoMarketing
Launch MDF (Marketing Development Fund) programs and cofunded marketing campaigns with toptier partners.
Organize channel partner events, roadshows, webinars, and product launches to boost engagement.
Create training modules, product guides, and sales enablement material tailored for partners.
4. Demand Generation
Drive lead generation programs through digital marketing, trade marketing, and local activations in partnership with channel partners.
Optimize use of CRM and marketing automation tools for nurturing channeldriven leads.
Track ROI on marketing campaigns and partnerfunded initiatives.
5. Market Intelligence & Analytics
Conduct competitor analysis and monitor market trends in channel ecosystems.
Provide insights on channel health, partner performance, and marketing effectiveness.
Prepare periodic reports for leadership on marketing KPIs, partner performance, and growth opportunities.
6. CrossFunctional Collaboration
Work closely with sales leadership to align marketing initiatives with channel sales strategies.
Collaborate with product teams to launch new offerings with channelspecific gotomarket plans.
Liaise with finance and operations to manage marketing budgets and MDF utilization.
Key Requirements:
Education: MBA in Marketing or equivalent.
Experience: 5-8 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in a channeldriven or partnerled sales environment.
Strong understanding of channel ecosystems (distributors, dealers, franchisees, or system integrators).
Proven track record in designing and executing channel marketing strategies that drive revenue.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Handson experience with digital marketing tools, CRM, and analytics platforms.
