Data Analyst

The Data Analyst / Senior Data Analyst will play a key executive role in delivering strategic business initiatives across the bank. This position will be responsible for aligning business needs with technology solutions, ensuring business strategies are effectively implemented, and enhancing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage deep industry knowledge, data analysis expertise

Role & responsibilities

Meet regularly with senior business leaders to capture objectives, challenges, and requirements.

Present potential technology and process improvement solutions to executive management

Conduct workshops and meetings to elicit business requirements from stakeholders across different departments.

Create comprehensive documentation, including business process models, use cases, and functional specifications.

Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.

Facilitate project kick-off meetings, communicate goals, and establish roles and responsibilities.

Manage the project lifecycle from inception to completion, ensuring that milestones are achieved, and risks are mitigated.

Utilise data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau) to analyse large data sets.

Design analytical structures to identify key trends, opportunities, and risks based on the analysis of internal and external data.

Keyskills

Proficiency in data analysis, including experience with SQL, BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and data modeling.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
Ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
