CCTV technician – field engineer VABTECH SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED
We are looking for CCTV technician who will be able to doing cabling and installing CCTV and Networking devices with at least 1 -2yrs experience, good salary, travel allowance.
Field work both installation and Troubleshooting
Need experience in Servicing/Installation of CCTV HD /IP Various brands, PTZ cameras, wifi IP Cameras, Video Door Phone, Biometric and Access Control
Educational Qualification: Diploma/ITI in Electrical field
Driving License and 2 wheeler are mandatory

Key Responsibilities
1. Installation of CCTV Systems
Install CCTV systems at client locations, including mounting of cameras, running cables (coaxial or Cat6), and setting up DVR/NVR units.
Configure system settings including camera angles, zones, and recording parameters.
Install and set up video door phones, intercoms, motion sensors, and related security accessories as required.
Ensure installations are neat, secure, and in compliance with industry safety and wiring standards.
2. System Configuration and Networking
Configure IP cameras with static or dynamic IP addresses.
Connect CCTV systems to routers, switches, or network servers for remote access and monitoring.
Set up remote viewing through mobile apps or web interfaces, including port forwarding and DDNS configuration.
Perform firmware upgrades and basic system optimizations to ensure efficient operation.
3. Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Diagnose and repair technical faults related to camera feeds, recording failures, connectivity issues, and system malfunctions.
Replace or repair defective components like hard drives, cables, connectors, or power adapters.
Perform routine maintenance tasks including camera cleaning, wire checks, and system health reviews.
Attend service calls promptly, log issues, and ensure satisfactory resolution for clients.
4. Client Interaction and Support
Provide on-site demonstrations to customers on how to operate the installed system.
Educate users about system features, safety protocols, and regular system checks.
Maintain professionalism in all interactions with customers, ensuring satisfaction and trust.
Gather client feedback and report service issues to the operations or service manager.
5. Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, and service visits.
Fill out installation checklists, maintenance logs, and customer feedback forms.
Submit daily or weekly field reports including completed tasks, pending work, and equipment used.
Maintain inventory logs for cables, cameras, tools, and accessories issued for fieldwork.
