Job Description

Desktop Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical problems with hardware, software, and network connectivity for end-users.
Installation & Configuration: Set up new computers, peripherals, software, and operating systems for new employees and ongoing operations.
Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and updates to hardware and software systems to ensure they are current and secure.
Inventory Management: Track computer hardware, software licenses, and other IT assets, and procure new equipment as needed.
User Support: Provide technical assistance to users via phone, email, remote access, or in-person, including training on new systems.
Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of technical issues, solutions, and user requests in a ticketing system.
Hardware & Peripherals: Manage and troubleshoot printers, scanners, phones, and other computer-related equipment.
Escalation: Identify and escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate higher-level teams.
