Job Description: NATIONAL SALES MANAGER Head GT / HORECA / Modern Trade Sales
Location: Delhi NCR
Department: Sales
Role Summary
The Manager – Head GT / HORECA / Modern Trade Sales will lead and drive the company’s sales initiatives across General Trade (GT), HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, and Catering), and Modern Trade channels. The role involves strategizing, planning, and executing sales plans to achieve revenue growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and building long-term relationships with key clients across these sectors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for GT, HORECA, and Modern Trade channels to achieve revenue targets.
Identify new business opportunities and untapped markets across these verticals.
2. Sales Execution
Drive sales by identifying and closing business deals with key clients across GT, HORECA, and Modern Trade.
Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closure, ensuring high conversion rates.
Develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts effectively.
3. Team Management
Lead and mentor the GT/HORECA/Modern Trade sales team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Set sales targets, monitor performance, and provide actionable feedback.
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and product knowledge.
4. Relationship Building
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders across all sales channels.
Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
5. Market Analysis
Analyze market trends, competition, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
Provide insights and recommendations to management for product and service improvements.
6. Reporting
Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management.
Monitor and track KPIs to measure the success of the sales strategy.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
MBA in Sales/Marketing or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum 8–10 years in sales, with at least 5 years in GT, HORECA, or Modern Trade in a managerial role.
Skills:
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Leadership and team management abilities
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in using CRM tools and MS Office Suite
Excellent analytical and presentation skills
Key Competencies
Target-driven with a strong focus on achieving results
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
