Academic Counselor

Job Summary:

The Academic Counselor is responsible for providing guidance and support to students in their academic journey. The role involves assisting students in course selection, career planning, academic challenges, and personal development to help them achieve their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise students on course selection, academic planning, and degree requirements.
Monitor academic progress and intervene with support strategies for at-risk students.
Provide career counseling and assist with graduate school or job application processes.
Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and student progress.
Collaborate with faculty and administrative staff to improve student retention and success.
Organize academic workshops, orientation sessions, and informational events.
Guide students in resolving academic or personal challenges that affect performance.
Refer students to appropriate institutional resources (e.g., mental health support, tutoring).
Stay updated on institutional policies, curriculum changes, and academic standards
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 – ₹30,000.00 per month
