Data Analyst

Job Title: Sr. IT Data Analyst
Experience Required: 5+ Years
Location: Remote (with 1–2 days per month onsite at any location: Noida, Gurgaon, Indore, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, or Chennai)
Shift Timing: 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM IST
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Sr. IT Data Analyst to support data analysis efforts across data warehouses, operational data stores, and data marts for our healthcare client (Optum). The ideal candidate will bring expertise in data modeling, analysis, and governance while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity and efficiency of data-driven decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather and define analytical requirements in an agile/iterative environment.
Develop source-to-target mappings and document business and transformation rules.
Conduct data profiling, define transformation logic, and perform complex data analysis.
Support data governance initiatives by ensuring data accuracy, quality, and integrity.
Develop scalable reporting solutions and perform detailed ad hoc data analyses.
Research and resolve complex data-related issues across internal and external systems.
Own and drive resolution of data integrity issues, working across cross-functional teams.
Conduct gap analysis between source and target systems and perform source system analysis.
Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare data/business analysis.
Strong command of SQL with experience in data modeling and modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake).
Ability to quickly understand complex data flows and take ownership of data issues in production.
Experience with data quality and automation initiatives.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to act as a subject matter expert (SME) and guide data consumers.
Familiarity with DataOps practices and Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) models.
Preferred Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with tools like Kafka, Databricks, GitHub, Airflow, and Azure.
Domain knowledge in healthcare claims and eligibility processes.
Proficiency in Python scripting for data analysis.
Exposure to AI/ML models or data science concepts is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 – ₹1,500,000.00 per year
