Lead data analyst

Key Responsibilities

Lead data analysis projects end-to-end, from requirement gathering to delivering actionable insights.
Analyze large and complex datasets using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or similar.
Design and develop interactive dashboards and visual reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent platforms.
Perform statistical analysis and data interpretation to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure data quality by applying best practices in data cleaning, transformation, and anomaly detection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and translate them into data-driven strategies.
Present complex data and analytical findings in a clear, concise, and business-friendly manner.
Guide and mentor junior analysts; promote best practices in data analysis and reporting.
Work efficiently both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
Utilize and manage cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, etc.
Work with diverse data sources including CSV, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, XML, and more.
Key Requirements

Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a strong background in statistical methods and analytical modeling.
Proficiency in data tools such as SQL, Python, R, Excel, etc.
Expertise in data visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
Strong understanding of various data formats and sources including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
Demonstrated ability in data cleaning, anomaly detection, and ensuring high data accuracy.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor teams.
