Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to drive the Quality Assurance (QA) function for a Core Banking implementation program. The role involves defining and executing QA strategies, test plans, and automation frameworks to support the bank’s digital transformation goals. The QA Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with business, regulatory, and quality standards while driving continuous improvement across QA processes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead QA planning, execution, and reporting for FLEXCUBE Core Banking implementations.
Define and implement test strategies for functional, integration, regression, UAT, and performance testing.
Manage and mentor QA teams across onsite/offshore locations.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Vendors to validate requirements and specifications.
Review BRDs and Functional Specifications, ensuring requirements traceability through test cases and defect tracking.
Oversee defect management, including triaging, root cause analysis, escalation, and resolution.
Drive readiness for production cutover through rigorous testing and simulations.
Establish and maintain automation frameworks where applicable.
Ensure adherence to SDLC, QA standards, governance, and risk management policies.
Lead transformation of the core banking application to its next version, leveraging deep functional architecture knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications

8–11 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with strong exposure to core banking systems.
Proven expertise in FLEXCUBE Core Banking implementations.
Strong understanding of functional architecture of banking core systems.
Hands-on experience in test strategy, planning, automation frameworks, and defect management.
Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and experience working in large-scale digital transformation programs.
