About the Role

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and experienced Senior Copy Editor/ Writer to join our team. This role involves crafting compelling content and ensuring its quality through thoughtful editing. You will play a key role in maintaining our brand voice, leading editorial efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support content goals.

Key Responsibilities

A. Content Writing & Editing

Write and edit articles, blogs, and marketing content with clarity and impact.
Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s tone, style, and messaging guidelines.
Conduct thorough fact-checking and maintain grammatical accuracy.
B. Content Planning & Coordination

Support the development and maintenance of the editorial calendar.
Collaborate with team members to plan and prioritize content pieces.
Coordinate with writers and editors to ensure timely and high-quality content delivery.
C. Content Strategy

Contribute to the development of content strategies that align with business goals.
Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to integrate content into larger campaigns.
Offer ideas to optimize content formats and distribution channels.
D. Mentorship & Collaboration

Guide junior writers and freelancers with constructive feedback and editorial direction.
Help organize knowledge-sharing sessions or writing workshops to elevate content quality across the team.
Foster a collaborative and high-performing editorial culture.
E. Content Quality & Optimization

Review content performance and suggest improvements where needed.
Utilize tools and platforms to streamline the writing and editing process.
Ensure SEO best practices are followed where applicable.
Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in writing, editing, or a similar content-focused role.
Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality written content.
Excellent command of English and sharp attention to detail.
Familiarity with CMS tools like WordPress and basic SEO concepts.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
Previous experience working on newsletters is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 – ₹70,000.00 per month
