Senior IT engineer

Position: Senior IT Manager

Location: Bangalore, India

Type: Full-time | Office-Based (Not Remote)

Experience: 7+ years

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM IST (Aligned to 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM UK Time)

Certifications Required: Microsoft (System Admin, Networking, Security)

Hexxcell is seeking to a Full-time position for an experienced and proactive Senior IT Manager to manage and support our global IT infrastructure. Based in our Bangalore office, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our computer and network systems locally, while also supporting our London HQ infrastructure and global remote workforce.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse tech stack including Linux and Windows systems, Microsoft Servers, Azure Cloud, while playing a key role in maintaining our ISO 27001 certification.

Responsibilities

· Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain desktops (Windows & Linux), laptops and network systems in the Bangalore office

· Provide remote support for the London network and global remote employees

· Administer Windows Server environments and Azure cloud infrastructure

· Install and configure software remotely and securely

· Support user access, device management, and security compliance across the company

· Maintain and help improve the ISO 27001 ISMS, including documentation and audits

· Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability

· Assist in setting up and managing Docker containers and related tools

· Stay up to date with the latest security protocols, updates, and industry best practices

What You Bring

· Proven experience (7+ years) as a Senior IT Manager in a cross-platform environment

· Strong knowledge of both Linux and Windows environments

· Microsoft certifications in System Administration, Networking, and Security

· Working knowledge of Docker and containerized environments

· Experience with Azure AD, Intune, Entra ID and remote software deployment tools

· Experience with ISO 27001 or similar information security standards

· Proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
