Senior System Administrator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Linux & cPanel server administrator with 1-2 years of experience in Linux server administration, cPanel/WHM, and virtualization (KVM/OpenVZ). The ideal candidate will manage hosting environments, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to Knowledge Base (KB) documentation while ensuring optimal performance of virtualized systems.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Server, cPanel & Virtualization Management:
Administer Linux servers (CentOS, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux) and cPanel/WHM (account setups, migrations, security etc).
Manage KVM and OpenVZ virtualization – including provisioning, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Troubleshoot LAMP/LEMP stack (Apache/Nginx, MySQL, PHP), DNS, Email (Exim/Dovecot), and FTP issues.
Implement server security (firewalls, ModSecurity, malware scans, kernel updates).
Automate tasks using Bash/Python scripting.
2. Knowledge Base (KB) Documentation:
Create and maintain technical guides for cPanel, Linux servers, and virtualization (KVM/OpenVZ).
Document troubleshooting steps, best practices, and FAQs for internal teams and customers.
Update KB articles regularly to reflect new technologies and fixes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
1-2 years of hands-on experience with:
* Linux server administration.
* cPanel/WHM (including migrations and security).
* Virtualization (KVM & OpenVZ) – setup, management, and troubleshooting.
Experience with LAMP/LEMP stack, DNS, SSL, and server security.
Ability to write clear KB documentation for technical and non-technical users.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:
Knowledge of WHMCS, Solusvm.
Experience in any cloud platform (AWS/Azure)
Certifications like RHCSA, cPanel
