Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educator to join our school. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting students with learning disabilities and various other disabilities, helping them achieve their academic and developmental goals in an inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the specific needs of students with learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), speech and language impairments, and other disabilities
Adapt and modify curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning abilities
Provide one-on-one and group support to help students overcome academic challenges and build confidence
Use specialized instructional techniques and assistive technologies to enhance learning outcomes
Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate inclusive practices into mainstream classrooms
Monitor and document students’ progress, challenges, and achievements through regular assessments and reports
Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and school staff regarding students’ development and support strategies
Foster a safe, nurturing, and supportive learning environment that promotes inclusion and respect for diversity
Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and professional development programs
Qualifications and Requirements:

Graduate/Postgraduate (preferably in Counseling Psychology) with a B.Ed in Special Education or Diploma (recognised by RCI)
1-3 years of experience working with children with special needs, including learning disabilities and various other disabilities
Experience with ICSE, CBSE, or IGCSE board curriculum
Strong understanding of special education strategies, interventions, and differentiated instruction
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children with diverse needs
Preferred Skills:

Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., speech therapists, occupational therapists, counselors)
Proficiency in using assistive technology and educational software
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 – ₹40,000.00 per month
