Marketing and Sales Intern

Internship Role: Area Sales Intern – Meat & Frozen Foods

Duration: 2–3 Months

Eligibility: Students pursuing BBA, B.Com, MBA (Marketing/Sales/Agri/Food), or related disciplines

About the Company:

We are a growing brand in the meat and frozen food segment, offering premium-quality products across modern trade, general trade, and HoReCa channels. With a focus on hygiene, quality, and traceability, we are redefining how consumers experience meat.

Key Responsibilities: Sales & Retail Execution:

Support in product placement and visibility at retail outlets
Assist in order collection and stock movement tracking
Monitor cold chain compliance and hygiene standards
Market Expansion & Development:

Identify and onboard new retail and distributor partners in assigned areas
Collect data on pricing, competitors, and consumer preferences
Support planning and execution of in-store promotions and samplings
Customer Interaction & Feedback:

Regularly visit stores, collect retailer feedback, and escalate issues
Build strong relationships with store managers and counter staff
Educate retail staff on product features and selling points
Reporting & Coordination:

Maintain daily sales and beat reports
Coordinate with supply chain and delivery partners to ensure product availability
Assist area sales manager in achieving monthly targets
Skills & Requirements:

Passion for FMCG/food sector and field sales
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets
Willingness to travel locally within the assigned territory
Knowledge of meat or frozen food category is a plus
