Job description
What you’ll do
Business Growth & Strategy

Drive cluster-level life insurance premium, policy, and revenue targets through bancassurance
Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with bank partner goals and company objectives
Monitor branch-wise performance and take corrective actions to improve productivity
Bank Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with bank Cluster Heads, Regional Heads, and senior stakeholders
Ensure alignment and engagement with bank leadership for business growth initiatives
Resolve escalated bank-related operational or service issues
Channel & Team Management

Lead, mentor, and manage Branch Managers, Relationship Managers, and Bancassurance sales teams
Ensure effective deployment and productivity of Relationship Managers (RMs) at bank branches
Drive sourcing through branch staff engagement, referrals, and joint sales calls
Sales Governance & Compliance

Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines, bancassurance norms, and company policies
Monitor business quality, persistency, and customer suitability metrics
Ensure audit readiness and zero-tolerance compliance culture
Operations & Performance Management

Track KPIs such as conversion ratios, ticket size, branch penetration, and activation levels
Ensure timely MIS, forecasting, and performance reporting
Optimize manpower, incentives, and cost efficiency across the cluster
Training & Capability Building

Drive product, sales, and regulatory training for bank staff and internal teams
Ensure certification and continuous capability development
