About the role

The Anaplan Business Analyst role has a key part to play in this agenda and for effective impact in Diageo globally, the role has been designed to focus on both functional and global deliverables.

Anaplan Business Analyst will focus in driving competitive advantage for Diageo markets through a focus on customer and consumer, enabling outstanding planning capabilities; expand margins through enabling continuous reduction of COGs, influence reliable, accurate, standard and cost effective business services, and participate in enabling our people become as effective as possible, collaborate efficiently and access information easily.

Role Responsibilities

Lead market requirement gathering through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
Ensure stakeholder needs are captured accurately and documented clearly as user stories for Anaplan applications development.
Translate requirements into technical specifications for solution roadmaps.
Validate designs against requirements ensuring they align with business objectives.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and D&T teams.
Facilitate communication to maintain alignment and buy-in from all parties involved.
Analyze data dependencies within solutions for effective measurement & evaluation.
Provide support during implementation phases.
Conduct market discovery sessions documenting requirements comprehensively.
Train users on Anaplan tools ensuring understanding across markets while supporting compliance documentation efforts
Experience / skills required:

Ownership mentality driving product priorities towards conclusion
Experience in implementing/supporting planning solutions in Finance/Commercial/Supply
8 – 11 years experience in Anaplan application as a developer or user is an advantage
Agile methodology expertise using Azure DevOps
Strong communication skills coupled with excellent stakeholder management capabilities
Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach towards standardized solutions
Proficiency in visualization tools such as Visio or Power BI is an advantage
Demonstrated success delivering data-driven solutions focused on business-function-first mindset
Ability to partner effectively across global functions/markets/external partners
