We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Area Sales Manager to oversee and expand our sales operations within a designated region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, leading a team of sales and service representatives, building strong customer relationships, and achieving revenue targets. This role requires strategic planning, operational execution, and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective regional sales strategies to achieve business goals and revenue targets.
Lead, coach, and motivate the regional sales team to ensure high performance.
Monitor and analyse performance metrics, adjust strategies as needed to improve results.
Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform business development strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, regional OEM staff and distributors.
Conduct regular field visits with sales representatives to support and assess performance.
Conduct market research and analyse competition in the region.
Provide accurate and timely sales forecasting and reporting to senior management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and operational procedures.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or related field) or MBA.
5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or regional management role.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel extensively within the region.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
