What you’ll do
Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and technically proficient Sales Engineer Lubricants to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge of lubricant products with excellent sales and customer relationship skills. You will be responsible for identifying customer needs, recommending appropriate lubricant solutions, and driving business growth across target markets and industries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

Generate new leads and build long-term relationships with both existing and prospective clients. • Execute B2B sales strategies across sectors.
Focus on solution-based selling by understanding customer pain points and aligning products as effective solutions.
Identify, coordinate and participate in trade shows (preferably along with distributors) as part of marketing activities
2. Technical Expertise, Presentations & Consultation

Develop a deep understanding of various lubricant products such as greases, industrial and specialty fluids.
Recommend the most suitable lubricants based on machine types, operating conditions, and industry requirements.
Provide technical support to customers, ensuring correct product selection and application.
Conduct product demonstrations and educate clients on lubricant performance, application methods, and benefits.
Deliver customer training sessions on proper usage, storage, and maintenance to ensure maximum product efficiency.
4. Market & Industry Analysis

Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological developments in lubricants. • Analyze competitor offerings and adjust sales strategies to maintain a competitive edge. 5. Customer Support & Service
Provide after-sales support, including troubleshooting, feedback collection, and technical assistance.
6. CRM monitoring & coordination with other departments

Updating daily activities of customers on CRM, Salesforce
Reports on received and pending DBK/MEIS and resolving any issues with them
Export reporting master is updated regularly and purchase, plant and dispatch are updated with upcoming orders.
Coordinating with Support staff regarding proper documentation and on-time dispatch of orders. Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field. • 5 -7 years of experience in lubricant sales or technical support (preferred).
Strong technical knowledge of lubrication principles, product formulations, and applications. • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to travel frequently to client sites and industrial locations.
