What you’ll do
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Channel Sales Manager to manage and expand our network of channel partners, distributors, and dealers for our air conditioning products. The role involves driving sales through indirect channels, building strong partner relationships, and ensuring market penetration and growth in line with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Development:
Identify, onboard, and manage new channel partners (dealers/distributors/installers).
Develop channel strategies to drive business growth and product reach.
Ensure proper partner coverage across target geographies.
Sales Management:
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through the channel network.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics of partners.
Forecast sales trends and align inventory and promotions accordingly.
Partner Relationship Management:
Maintain regular communication with partners to ensure alignment and engagement.
Conduct partner training sessions for new product introductions, USPs, and service protocols.
Resolve channel partner issues promptly and professionally.
Market Intelligence:
Gather competitor insights, pricing, and product positioning.
Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams for continuous improvement.
Promotions & Campaigns:
Drive marketing campaigns, schemes, and seasonal offers through the channel.
Ensure partner participation in promotional activities and events.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure adherence to company policies on pricing, discounts, credit, and payments.
Submit regular sales reports and market insights to management.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. MBA preferred.
Experience: 58 years in channel sales, preferably in HVAC, consumer durables, or building materials.
Skills:
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to manage channel networks and drive revenue.
Understanding of HVAC systems and solutions is a strong advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and sales reporting systems.
Willingness to travel frequently.
