Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead and expand our computer hardware sales business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building relationships with hardware resellers and B2B clients, and driving sales of our extensive product portfolio including desktops, laptops, CPUs, components, and peripherals. This role requires in-depth knowledge of computer hardware and the ability to provide tailored solutions to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the computer hardware segment.
Build and maintain strong relationships with hardware resellers, system integrators, and B2B clients.
Promote and sell a wide range of hardware products including notebooks, desktops, CPUs, motherboards, storage, and components.
Understand client requirements and recommend the right hardware solutions to meet technical and business needs.
Prepare and deliver product presentations, proposals, and quotations.
Negotiate pricing and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging hardware technologies, and competitor activities.
Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and support teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities in the CRM system.
Qualifications
5+ years of proven experience in computer hardware sales or business development, preferably in a distributor or reseller environment.
Strong knowledge of desktops, laptops, CPUs, motherboards, storage devices, and related components.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
Customer service orientation with strong problem-solving skills.
Prior experience working with IT resellers or B2B clients is highly desirable.
Basic understanding of supply chain and product lifecycle in the hardware market.
Education
Bachelors degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field (B.Tech preferred).
