What you’ll do
Exp 5 to 7yrs

Location – Mumbai

Responsibilities:• Perform data enquiry, data analysis and data sourcing in Relational and Big Data database environments.• Develop a thorough understanding of the data definitions, domain values, data relationships, business rules, sources, and data integration used in the business domain• Develop a thorough understanding of the technology systems; data stores, data pipelines, job streams etc.• Translate business requirements into data models and program design specifications• Modify ETL and other programs to implement changes to business requirements• Respond to questions from business analysts and developers regarding query building and optimization• Troubleshoot data issues and work with data providers for resolution. Perform L3 support when neededRequired Skills:• Strong knowledge of relational databases and data modeling• Strong SQL query-writing skills• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills• Experience with coding in one or more of : Python, shell, Spark programs• At least 5 years financial industry technology experience and knowledge of financial services data• Good verbal and written communication skillsDesired Skills:• Experience with analyzing and coding ETL programs• Experience with coding Autosys job definitions• Experience with Data Modeling tools (e.g., Power Designer)
