What you’ll do
Job Title: Deputy Manager/Manager Payroll
Location: BKC, Mumbai
Industry Preference: BFSI
Experience Required: 7 – 12 years

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Professional (Deputy Manager/Manager level) to lead payroll operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in handling payroll for a large workforce (1000 – 5000 employees) within the BFSI sector, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery of all payroll activities.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end ownership of payroll processing for 1000 – 5000 employees.
Ensure 100% accuracy in salary disbursement, including variable pay, incentives, reimbursements, and statutory deductions.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Compliance teams for smooth payroll operations.
Manage HRMS/Payroll systems, ensure timely updates, and troubleshoot payroll-related issues.
Reconcile payroll data and prepare MIS reports for management.
Address employee queries related to payroll and taxation.
Drive process improvements and automation in payroll operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Graduate/Postgraduate in HR/Finance/Commerce.
7 – 12 years of experience in Payroll Management.
Mandatory: Prior experience in BFSI industry.
Strong knowledge of payroll systems, statutory compliances, and labor laws.
