What you’ll do
Job Summary: As an IT Project Manager in a staff augmentation capacity, you will be responsible for leading, planning, and overseeing IT projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. You will work directly with our customer to plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects in a staff augmentation setting.
Work directly with the customer to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
Draft and submit budget proposals,and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
Monitor project performance with the help of appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors and key stakeholders.
Ensure a strong governance structure is in place to support the decision-making process during the project lifecycle.
Develop and maintain a stakeholder management strategy to effectively engage all stakeholders and ensure their needs are met.
Implement project governance policies and practices to ensure consistent project execution and decision-making.
Prepare and present regular project reports and metrics to stakeholders, including project status, risks, issues, and benefits realization.
Define and track project metrics such as cost, time, scope, and quality to assess project performance and make necessary adjustments.
Utilize ServiceNow for project management tasks, including tracking project progress, managing the project portfolio, and integrating with other enterprise tools and processes.
Conduct regular project review meetings with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback, using ServiceNow’s reporting and dashboard features for data-driven discussions.
Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years of experience in project management
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
Proven experience in IT project management, especially in a staff augmentation or consulting role.
Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Experience seeing project through the full life cycle.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
