What you’ll do
National Sales Manager – Nutrition
We are looking for an experienced National Sales Manager to lead the Nutrition product portfolio with a strong focus on KOL (Key Opinion Leader) engagement across India, especially North & South including Delhi NCR region.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute national sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Drive expansion plans, especially in Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities.
Build and nurture strong relationships with KOLs (doctors, nutritionists, institutions) across North & South.
Organize CMEs, scientific sessions, and round tables to promote product credibility.
Lead and mentor the national sales team including RSMs, ASMs, and front-line staff.
Set performance KPIs, review targets, and foster a result-driven culture.
Identify market gaps, consumer needs, and competitor intelligence.
Lead successful launches of new nutrition products and drive adoption through clinical and retail channels.
Manage channel partners, distribution network, and institutional buyers effectively.
Coordinate with marketing, regulatory, and medical affairs teams for seamless execution.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, Nutrition, or a related field with MBA or Master’s degree.
Experience:
Minimum 15-18 years of sales experience in the clinical nutrition industry.
At least 8-10 years handling multiple regions with direct experience of managing a Sales team.
Mandatory strong KOLs connects across North & South specifically targeting hospital-based specialists such as Critical Care specialists, Pulmonologists, Internal Medicine physicians etc.
Experience in launching and scaling adult nutrition products.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
