Role Overview
We are seeking a Payroll Executive / Manager to handle end-to-end payroll operations and statutory compliance. The role involves reviewing payroll inputs, monitoring compliance, maintaining a compliance calendar, and ensuring accuracy through coordination with payroll processing teams and external consultants. Prior experience in the QSR or hospitality industry will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Review and validate payroll inputs, coordinate with the payroll processing team for accurate and timely salary disbursement.
Manage payroll breakups (Basic, HRA, LTA, PF, PT, ESIC, LWF, allowances & deductions).
Ensure compliance with PF, PT, ESIC, LWF and other applicable labour laws.
Review compliance workings prepared by external consultants/vendors before filing.
Maintain a compliance calendar to track statutory deadlines.
Operate and manage HRMS platforms (QuickChex, Darwin Box, HGS, etc.).
Prepare payroll MIS, reconciliations, and handle full & final settlements.
Address employee payroll queries and support audits as required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, HR, or related field.
2–6 years of payroll experience (QSR / hospitality preferred).
Strong knowledge of payroll components and statutory compliance.
Hands-on experience with HRMS platforms.
Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll reporting.
Detail-oriented with strong compliance focus and confidentiality.
