Hiring for Sr. QA Automation Engineer & Lead QA Automation Roles for one of our prestigious client in Investment Banking & Wealth Management Domain.

Job Location: Mumbai (Hybrid Work Mode)

Experience: 3-7 Years

Notice Period: up to 30 Days

We are looking for a creative and energetic QA Automation Engineer with an eye for quality and details to help the team.

This role will sit within the Global Asset Servicing technology team, part of the Operations Technology division. The Asset Servicing team supports the firms global corporate actions processing systems across both the Institutional Equities and Wealth Management divisions A critical system supporting key departments such as Operations, Wealth Management, Prime Brokerage and Traders, as well as external clients.

The role offers opportunity to become a well-rounded technologist , learn the business and a breadth of technologies

Roles and Responsibilities:

Understanding the business requirements and Ownership of testing the functionalities to ensure it meets the requirements.
Work in Agile environment and should be able to use DevOps tools for automating the testing.
Demos to Operations/End Users on the new features and shares test results with all stakeholders, ensures End user Quality of the product
Periodically reviews the scripts and optimizes the test pack as per the latest builds/ new technology stacks
Builds overall test strategy. Should be able to liaise with Dev Manager/Leads and Operations/Business to capture Functional and Non-Functional requirements to build an overall test strategy for the program
Builds Test Data Management strategies
Partner with global stakeholders and to ensure high quality delivery.

Required Skills:

3-7 years of hands-on QA experience.
Practical experience with Automation testing and coding skills in any one language (Core Java / Python / JavaScript).
Experience using cypress tool is mandatory.
Practical knowledge of one UI automation tool (Selenium/Cypress etc.).
Proficient in API Testing with any automation tool (Rest-Assured/Jmeter etc.).
Strong SQL experience with various databases.
Practical automation frameworks experience in Concordion (TDD) / Gherkins-Cucumber (BDD).
Practical experience with Agile Methodology.
Team player with effective communication skills to work effectively in a global team.
Self-motivated, problem solver.
Willingness to learn and grow.

Desired Skillset:

Prior experience in Investment Banking domain
Knowledge of Capital Markets, Trading Life Cycle, back-office operations like Corporate Actions, Settlements & Clearance, Tax Reporting.
