Job Summary

The Regional Sales Strategy Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the SBU by driving data-led regional planning, enabling strategic execution, and optimizing operational performance across assigned geographies. This role acts as the key bridge between national directives and field-level execution.

Job Description

1. Sales Planning & Analysis

Support the SBU in developing region-wise quarterly and annual sales plans.
Conduct performance diagnostics by region and align strategies with sales targets.
Provide actionable insights through data modeling and advanced analytics.
2. Field Force Alignment & Execution Oversight

Coordinate closely with Regional Business Managers (RBMs) and Area Business Managers (ABMs) to ensure quarterly plans are well-understood and implemented.
Monitor the potential and performance of doctors/institutions and provide support in resource allocation.
Audit field execution standards and identify process deviations or gaps.
3. Stock Movement & Demand Forecasting

Track regional stock movement patterns to prevent excess inventory or shortfalls.
Detect and addressing early warning signs of product dumping.
Collaborate with supply chain and demand planning teams to refine forecasts based on real-time trends and market dynamics.
4. Strategic Reporting & Collaboration

Generate regular performance dashboards, market opportunity reports, and deviation alerts for leadership review.
Act as a strategic partner to marketing and medical affairs in rolling out region-specific campaigns or initiatives.
Provide input into incentive planning and budgeting from a regional performance perspective.

Skill set requirement

Graduate in Science/Pharmacy or MBA
1015 years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Analytics, Sales excellence
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical / healthcare field force dynamics and demand planning
Analytical thinking with hands-on experience in data modeling tools
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
High attention to detail and execution tracking
Proficiency in data analytics toll like MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau
Strategic mindset with problem-solving orientation
