What you’ll do
Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely flow of F&V from suppliers to stores. This role involves

demand forecasting, inventory optimization, supplier coordination, and logistics planning to maintain product freshness, minimize

waste, and meet customer demand across the retail store network.

Job Responsibilities:

This position is required to achieve the desired level of performance in the following Key Result areas:

1. Demand Planning & Forecasting

• Develop accurate demand forecasts using historical data, seasonality, and promotional inputs.

• Collaborate with Category teams to align forecasts with business goals.

• Leverage analytical tools and AI/ML models to improve forecast precision.

2. Supplier Coordination

• Align supply plans with vendor capabilities and lead times.

• Coordinate with growers, aggregators, and suppliers for timely procurement.

• Monitor supplier performance (Fill Rates) and escalate risks proactively.

3. Logistics & Distribution

• Supply Chain Network Design: Plan and optimize transportation routes and delivery schedules.

• Monitor CC Cost, Utilization and volume plans

4. Store Replenishment & Inventory Management

• Create store-level replenishment plans based on sales velocity and capacity.

• Maintain optimal inventory levels across stores to improve intraday availability and reduce dump.

• Use centralized indenting systems to streamline order placement.

• Monitor planogram compliance and space utilization.

5. Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze P&L statements regularly to track performance against budget and forecast.

• Track KPIs such as Availability, fill rate, dump, and forecast accuracy.

• Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work with category, QA, finance, and IT teams to align supply chain strategies.

• Assist in new product and CC launches with agile planning.

• Collaborate with Sourcing and sales team for business growth and development.

• Assist in IT system projects development for the future state

Required Skills &

Competencies

• Strong knowledge of the fresh produce market, including trends, seasonality, and supplier networks.

• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.

• Analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and consumer preferences.

• Ability to work cross-functionally with teams in IT, marketing, procurement, sales, and logistics.

• Attention to detail, especially in quality control and inventory management.
