Role Overview

The Sales Lead is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and leading a team of sales professionals. This role acts as a bridge between the sales team and upper management, ensuring that business strategies are executed effectively and sales targets are consistently achieved. The ideal candidate should have proven leadership capabilities, strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and an in-depth understanding of the Indian market.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, industry events, and digital channels.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed individual and collective objectives.
Manage key client accounts, ensuring long-term relationships and customer satisfaction.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, presenting regular reports to senior management.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and allocation of resources.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Desired Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
10–15 years of proven sales experience, including 3–4 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the Indian market.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Willingness to travel as per business requirements.
Proficiency in local languages will be an added advantage.
