What you’ll do
Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Revenue Generation

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for guest rooms, events, and other hotel services.
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, meeting planners, and tour operators.
Respond to inquiries and conduct site visits to showcase hotel services and amenities.
Negotiate and close sales contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Monitor and analyze competitor activity to identify opportunities for differentiation and market positioning.
2. Relationship Management

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other key stakeholders.
Work with the marketing team to ensure that the hotels brand and promotional materials align with the sales strategy.
Attend networking events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and establish industry connections.
Collaborate with the front desk, events, and catering teams to ensure smooth guest experiences and successful events.
3. Marketing & Promotion

Collaborate with the marketing department to create targeted campaigns and promotions that align with sales goals.
Assist in organizing sales events, trade shows, and familiarization (FAM) tours for potential clients.
Work with online platforms (OTAs, websites, social media) to enhance online visibility and sales.
4. Budgeting & Reporting

Monitor and report on sales performance against targets and adjust strategies as necessary to meet goals.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports for the management team, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
Manage sales budgets and allocate resources efficiently to achieve optimal outcomes.
5. Market Research & Analysis

Conduct market research to understand local demand, pricing strategies, and customer preferences.
Analyze feedback from guests, clients, and prospects to identify service improvements or new opportunities.
6. Team Collaboration & Leadership

Work closely with the Director of Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure alignment in strategy and implementation.
Train, guide, and support junior sales staff, if applicable, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
