What you’ll do
We are hiring for multiple FMCG Companies at PAN India.
We have very large clients in FMCG Sector and we are hiring for multiple roles: Sales Officer, TSE, ASE, TSM and ASM
Industry: FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods)
Department: Sales General Trade
Reporting To: Area Sales Manager / Territory Sales Manager
Job Purpose:
To drive secondary sales, enhance product visibility, and manage distributor and retail network in the assigned territory for general trade channels, contributing to overall volume growth and market share.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Achievement:
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in the assigned territory.
Monitor SKU-wise and outlet-wise performance.
Distributor Management:
Appoint, manage, and develop distributors.
Ensure healthy ROI and timely claim settlement for distributors.
Monitor stock levels and order replenishments.
Retail Coverage:
Plan and execute regular market visits to ensure availability, visibility, and placement of products.
Ensure coverage of retail outlets as per beat plan and route-to-market (RTM) strategy.
Promotions & Visibility:
Execute trade promotions, schemes, and activations effectively at retail level.
Ensure proper placement of POSM materials and merchandising tools.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers and wholesalers.
Address retailer grievances and ensure service excellence.
Market Intelligence:
Track competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and market trends.
Share timely inputs and reports with the management.
Reporting & Compliance:
Submit timely sales reports, beat plans, and claim documents.
Ensure adherence to company policies and ethical standards.
Key Requirements:
Education: Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
Experience: 4 years+ in FMCG general trade sales
Skills:
Good communication and negotiation skills
Strong execution and market connect
Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
Basic understanding of distributor management systems (DMS)
