Job Description

Responsibilities:

Acquire a comprehensive understanding of applications from both a business and technological standpoint. Familiarize yourself with the testing tools currently in use and remain adaptable to learning new tools and technologies as per project requirements.
Adhere to the established QA team protocols for comprehending project requirements, crafting comprehensive test plans, and developing detailed test cases.
Engage actively in all testing facets, encompassing functional, regression, and system testing, as well as exploratory testing and meticulous defect logging.
Assume full responsibility for automation, encompassing the enhancement of the automation framework, identification of gaps in existing test cases, and the development and execution of a strategy to achieve comprehensive automation coverage.
Requirements:

Must haves:

Experience in Automation using Webdriver.io & Javascript/Typescript.
Experience in API testing and automation using Karate framework/ Rest Assured.
Experience in testing Web and Client Server applications.
Good knowledge on testing frameworks: JUnit, TestNG etc.
Good programming skills using Core Java (including Collections).
Good technical and debugging skills.
Team Player, ability to multi-task, work with minimal help and provide excellent follow-through on tasks.
Good Oral & Written communication skills and able to give updates in conference calls with UK/USA teams.
Well versed with SDLC, STLC and other Quality Assurance processes
Good exploratory testing skills
Nice to have:

Good knowledge on Web technologies like HTML, CSS, HTTP and Ajax
Experience with API testing tools Postman preferred.
Experience in JMeter & Performance testing
Experience in one or more of CI/CD tools – Jenkins preferred.
Experience working in cloud technologies.
Experience with working in Agile methodology
Good knowledge in Database and UNIX.
