Senior Support Analyst
Location: Mumbai

About the Role
As a Senior Support Analyst at NetConnect Global (NCG), you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of our financial systems. You will be part of a 10-member support team, working closely with IT, business stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to address incidents, perform daily operational checks, and implement service improvements. Your contributions will directly impact system stability, service delivery efficiency, and overall user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and create functional specifications to enhance system performance.
Act as the primary contact for end users, performing first-level investigations and providing solutions to known issues.
Conduct daily health checks including SOD/EOD processes to ensure a stable production environment.
Monitor alerts, perform incident triage, and coordinate with development and support teams to resolve issues promptly.
Take ownership of service improvement projects to boost operational efficiency.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to communicate issues, suggest enhancements, and escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
Participate in long-term improvement initiatives within the support function.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Masters degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
5+ years of experience as a Support Analyst, preferably in the financial services domain.
Strong understanding of financial terms, accounting system processes, instruments, and transactions.
Proficient in ITIL Operation Methodology with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Hands-on experience with Red Hat Linux and Windows servers, including vulnerability remediation.
Knowledge of configuration management, monitoring, and CI tools on UNIX and Windows platforms (preferably Ansible).
Familiarity with automation tools for deployment, customization, upgrades, and monitoring through DevOps practices.
