Operations Manager (Part Time)
Overview: The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Sweepy Maids, ensuring that our cleaning services are delivered efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage and motivate a team of cleaners.
Timimgs – 9am -3pm as per Toronto timings
Monday- Saturday.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Oversee daily operations and ensure all cleaning services are completed on schedule.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.
Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Team Leadership:
Supervise, train, and support cleaning staff, ensuring they adhere to company standards and policies.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Coordinate and schedule staff training sessions, focusing on both theoretical and practical aspects of cleaning.
Client Relations:
Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular feedback and follow-up.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the quality of cleaning services meets client expectations and company standards.
Implement and monitor a point system for grading cleaners’ performance and addressing any issues.
Scheduling and Coordination:
Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage and adherence to availability constraints.
Coordinate post-construction cleaning projects and other special assignments.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Promote and enforce a culture of safety within the team.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the cleaning or service industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
Proficiency in using software tools such as Jobber and Lead Connector is a plus.
Knowledge of environmental and sustainability practices related to cleaning services is preferred.
