What you’ll do
Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager with strong expertise in both European and Indian accounting practices. The ideal candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure statutory compliance, manage reporting, and support strategic decision-making for our India operations while aligning with the financial standards and expectations of our European headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

Manage and oversee all day-to-day accounting activities in accordance with Indian GAAP and also align reporting with European accounting standards (IFRS/Local GAAP as applicable).
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management and group reporting.
Consolidate financials and prepare management dashboards for India and Europe.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

Drive annual budgeting and financial planning for all departments.
Track financial performance vs. budgets, identify variances, and provide actionable insights.
Prepare cash flow projections, working capital analysis, and funding requirements.
Statutory Compliance & Audit

Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, PF/ESI, and other Indian regulations.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors (India & Europe).
Manage compliance with international reporting requirements, including inter-company transactions, transfer pricing documentation, and group audits.
Costing & Operations Finance

Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, manufacturing costs, and margin analysis.
Support operations and supply chain teams with financial insights for procurement, production, and logistics.
Implement cost-saving measures and process improvements.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management

Manage cash flow efficiently, including vendor payments, receivables follow-up, and banking operations.
Handle forex transactions, LC/BG, and international payments.
Coordinate with headquarters on fund transfers and group financial policies.
ERP & Systems

Work closely with IT/ERP teams to maintain accurate and efficient financial data flow.
Drive improvements in ERP modules (Finance, Inventory, Procurement, Projects).

Preferred candidate profile

Education

CA / CMA / MBA Finance (preferred)
Experience & Knowledge

10 – 15 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
Strong understanding of European accounting practices (IFRS, Dutch/UK/European GAAP preferred).
Hands-on experience with Indian taxation, compliance, and statutory filings.
Experience in a multinational company or a company with European parentage (preferred).
Technical Skills

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Tally Prime , etc.)
Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
Knowledge of transfer pricing, inter-company accounting, and consolidation.
Soft Skills

Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication skills (English mandatory).
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
