Job Description

Production engineer

Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily production activities to meet output and quality targets.

Monitor production lines and identify areas of inefficiency, defects, or safety concerns.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.).

Collaborate with design and quality teams to resolve technical or process-related issues.

Optimize resource usage (man, machine, material) to reduce waste and cost.

Ensure equipment is maintained properly; coordinate with maintenance for repairs and servicing.

Prepare production reports and present data-driven recommendations to management.

Maintain safety and cleanliness standards within the production area.

Train and guide operators or technicians on standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
