Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join our growing team. As a Series A startup, we’re scaling quickly, and this role will be pivotal in shaping our people strategy, building a strong company culture, and ensuring we attract and retain top talent. You will work closely with leadership to develop HR policies, drive talent acquisition, and oversee all aspects of employee engagement, performance management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

Drive end-to-end recruitment for technical, operational, and leadership roles.

Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates.

Build a strong employer brand to position Fincent as a top startup workplace in India.

2. HR Strategy & Policy

Design, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with Fincent’s values and growth goals.

Partner with leadership on organizational design and workforce planning.

Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory regulations in India.

3. Performance Management

Implement and manage performance appraisal systems, including goal setting, feedback cycles, and career progression plans.

Coach managers to drive a high-performance culture.

4. Employee Engagement & Culture

Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives to maintain a collaborative and inclusive workplace.

Act as a trusted advisor and mediator in employee relations matters.

Foster a culture of transparency, innovation, and continuous learning.

5. Learning & Development

Identify skill gaps and implement targeted training programs.

Promote leadership development for high-potential employees.

Requirements

Full-time MBA with 6–8 years of HR experience, preferably in high-growth startups or SaaS companies.

Proven track record in talent acquisition, policy development, and employee engagement.

Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR compliance.

Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.

Passion for building culture and scaling teams in fast-paced settings.
