Xiaomi India – Manager – Direct Tax Bengaluru, Karnataka, India -FULL TIME — ONSITE

Job Responsibilities:

To ensure all DT and TP compliances for Indian and overseas entities (Bangladesh, Nepal & Sri Lanka) including advance tax, WHT, tax audit, TP audits, tax returns etc.
Providing high quality tax advisory support business units and support functions, including working cross functionally with Legal, Treasury, Finance & Accounting.
To advise various stakeholders and business partners on various business initiatives.
To handle MAP/ APA · Managing various audit by direct tax authorities and protecting tax positions including filing of appeals · Disputes management and resolution.
Protecting tax positions taken before appellate authorities.
Tax Authority relationship management, including coordination of tax audits and liaising with Tax Authorities.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Expert understanding of international tax laws, transfer pricing, domestic tax laws and working knowledge of IDT laws.
Ability to work in high tech and data driven organisation · Independent decision making.
End to end project management.
Very high standards of integrity and work ethics.

Qualification – Chartered Accountant

Experience – 5 years of PQE in Corporate Tax, International Tax and Transfer Pricing
