Job description
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong Knowledge of Labour Laws.
Must have closed LTAs (Long Term Agreement).
Should possess strong Industrial Relations skills with hands on experience in handling union matters within plant operations, including negotiations, conflict resolution and maintaining harmonious labour relation.
Good leadership skills & should be able to work in group & teams.
Good Interpersonal Skill, Communication Skill, Observational Skill.
Ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations.
Strong knowledge of Labour laws, Model Standing Orders, ID Act, Factories Act.
Strong IR background with hands-on experience in managing union relationships
Must have independently handled Long Term Settlements (LTS) and end-to-end negotiations
Deep understanding of union agreements and the negotiation process
Capable of leading and driving IR initiatives if given the opportunity
Good at liaising with government and statutory bodies
Industry & Domain Exposure:
Must be from a manufacturing background 98% of career should be in this sector
Personal Attributes:
Proactive, well-organized, and able to navigate complex IR issues
Marathi-speaking candidates will be given preference due to the regional nature of union interactions
